Welcome to Rue Du Jour

Rue du Jour is a collaboration between two photographers - Damien and Saq - and focuses on photography in public places. Over the course of the year (2010) we will be taking turns to publish photographs, hopefully one every day. The project was born out of a desire to motivate ourselves to take photographs more regularly and explore new themes and approaches. We look forward to seeing how our styles evolve as a result of our collaboration, shooting more often and of course your feedback. You can join us on this crazy ride by subscribing to Rue du Jour.

Damien is based out of Montpellier. He is a programmer and enjoys playing acoustic guitars, photography, mountain biking, and learning pretty much anything.

Saq is currently splitting his time between Oslo and Paris. When he isn't dreaming up new schemes to save the world he is usually busy travelling and enjoying good tea.
